Section 7.8.3.44 - CHILDREN'S ROOMS

A. Each child's room must be provided with, but not limited to the following:
(1) A bed as defined in 7.8.3.44 of these
regulations;
(2) A dresser or other
adequate storage space for private use;
(3) An individual closet or closet areas with
a clothes rack and a shelves accessible to the child;
(4) A table or desk with a reading lamp and
chair, or a well-lighted area within the facility with desk or table for a
study area;
(5) Window shades,
drapes, or blinds in good repair.
B. Any item other than the bed may be removed from a child's room if it is documented in the child's record that such items would be a danger to the health or safety of the child.
C. For facilities providing care to children under two (2) years of age, no more than seven children of that age will occupy a designated bedroom space.
