This document is a compilation of the duties of the staff of the office of the medical investigator as outlined in the statutes of New Mexico and certain regulations of official agencies involved in death investigation. It discusses those policies that have been formulated under the supervision of the board of medical investigation to carry out the designated responsibilities of this office.
