Part 2 - REQUIREMENTS FOR ADULT DAY CARE FACILITIES
Section 7.13.2.56 - QUALIFICATIONS OF OPERATORS OF ADULT DAY CARE HOMES

Licensees of adult day care homes must have the following minimum qualifications:
A. eighteen (18) years of age or older;
B. be competent and have a demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of a day care program;
C. have a minimum of a high school education or the equivalent;
D. have at least two (2) years of full-time work experience in services to elderly and/or handicapped adults;
E. provide a written statement from a physician or a recognized health facility stating that the operator is free from communicable disease;
F. have the ability to work with people;
G. provide references, including former employer(s);
H. meet the requirements of Section 53 [now 7.13.2.53 NMAC].
