The classifications for special purpose schools school grade levels under these standards are:

A. Preschool

B. Elementary school: kindergarten - grade 6

C. Middle school/junior high school: grades 7 - 8

D. High school: grades 9 - 12

E. Combination school: includes some or all of the grade levels in A, B, C or D, above.
