Section 6.100.2.23 - TIME LIMIT FOR DETERMINING ELIGIBILITY

A. DVR shall determine whether an individual is eligible for vocational rehabilitation services within 60 days after the individual has submitted an application to receive services.
B. DVR may extend the 60 day limit for determining eligibility if:
(1) DVR notifies
the individual that exceptional and unforeseen circumstances beyond its control
preclude the completion of the eligibility determination within the 60 days and
the individual agrees that an extension of time is warranted; or
(2) An extended evaluation is
required.
