Section 20.2.74.305 - AMBIENT AIR QUALITY MODELING

All estimates of ambient concentrations required by this Part shall be based on applicable air quality models, data bases, and other requirements as specified in EPA's Guideline on Air Quality Models (EPA-450/2-78-027 R, July, 1986), its revisions, or any superseding EPA document, and approved by the Department. Where an air quality impact model specified in the Guideline on Air Quality Models is inappropriate, the model may be modified or another model substituted. Any substitution or modification of a model must be approved by the Department. Notification shall be given by the Department of such a substitution or modification and the opportunity for public comment provided for in fulfilling the public notice requirements in subsection B of 20.2.74.400 NMAC. The Department will seek EPA approval of such substitutions or modifications.
