Section 19.27.68.8 - BOUNDARY DESCRIPTION OF THE EXTENDED AREA OF THE LEA COUNTY UNDERGROUND WATER BASIN

Beginning at the southwest corner of township 10 south, range 32 east, NMPM; thence north along range line to the northwest corner of section 30, township 10 south, range 32 east, NMPM; thence east along section lines to the northeast corner of section 29, township 10 south, range 32 east, NMPM; thence north along section lines to the northwest corner of section 33, township 9 south, range 32 east, NMPM; thence west along section line to the southwest corner of section 29, township 9 south, range 32 east, NMPM; thence north along section lines to the northwest corner of section 5, township 9 south, range 32 east, NMPM; thence east along township lines, and the Lea county line, to the northeast corner of township 9 south, range 38 east, NMPM, a point on the New Mexico-Texas state line; thence south along said state line to the southeast corner of township 11 south, range 38 east, NMPM; thence west along township lines to the southwest corner of township 11 south, range 35 east, NMPM; thence north along range line to the northwest corner of section 19, township 11 south, range 35 east, NMPM; thence west along section lines to the southwest corner of section 15, township 11 south, range 34 east, NMPM; thence north along section lines to the northwest corner of section 3, township 11 south, range 34 east, NMPM; thence west along township lines to the southwest corner of township 10 south, range 32 east, NMPM, being the point of origin.
