Section 16.20.1.8 - TELEPHONE CONFERENCES

Telephone conferences shall be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act (Section 10-15-1 NMSA 1978). In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Section 10-15-1 C, board members may participate in a meeting of the board by means of a conference telephone or similar communications equipment when it is otherwise difficult or impossible for the member to attend the meeting in person. Each member participating by conference telephone must be identified when speaking, all participants must be able to hear each other at the same time and members of the public attending the meeting must be able to hear any member of the board who speaks during the meeting.
