The board is responsiblefor maintaining, continuing and enhancing the development of the education and professional role of the pharmacist for the protection of the health, welfare and safety of the citizens of New Mexico. In order to maintain, augment or expand the availability of pharmacy services in communities that have pharmacy access issues, rules are necessary to permit remote tele-pharmacy services and remote dispensing.
