The purpose of these rules is to provide clarification of the Unemployment Compensation Law. These rules assist employers and claimants to better understand how specific sections of the law are being administered by the department. The rules also assist employers achieve compliance by facilitating understanding of the department's procedures so that employers can meet the requirements of unemployment compensation law.
