Section 8:36-11.4 - Administration of medications

(a) Notwithstanding the definition of "health care service," the administration of medication in accordance with 8:36-11.3 and this section, in and of itself, shall not be considered a health care service.

(b) All medications shall be administered by qualified personnel in accordance with prescriber orders, facility or program policy, manufacturer's requirements, cautionary or accessory warnings, and all Federal and State laws and regulations.
