Section 8:28-2.2 - Issuance and term of Certificate of Registration

(a) The Department shall issue an initial Certificate of Registration to a tanning facility after:

1. Receipt and review of a fully and accurately completed initial registration application form pursuant to 8:28-2.1(d); and

2. Receipt of the required registration fee established at 8:28-2.1(e).

3. Receipt and review of a satisfactory inspection report as determined and issued by the local board of health, certifying the facility's substantial compliance with this chapter.

(b) A Certificate of Registration shall be valid for a period of one calendar year from the date of registration.

(c) A Certificate of Registration issued by the Department shall not be transferable from one person to another or from one tanning facility to another.

(d) The registrant shall display the Certificate of Registration issued by the Department in a conspicuous location that is visible to the consumer, near the reception area of the facility.
