(a) No person infected with any disease capable of being transmitted to others through food shall work at a frozen dessert plant in any capacity which brings them into direct contact with frozen desserts mix, finished products, or food contact surfaces.
(b) Frozen dessert plant employees or applicants to whom a conditional offer of employment has been made shall be instructed by management that he or she is responsible to report to management, in a manner that allows the frozen dessert plant to prevent the likelihood of disease transmission through foods, if he or she:
(c) Management shall instruct frozen dessert plant employees to immediately report to management if they experience:
(d) Employees shall maintain a high degree of personal cleanliness and shall conform to good hygienic practices during all working periods to prevent contamination of food products.
(e) Employees shall not use tobacco, eat or drink in areas where there is food or food ingredients or in areas used for washing and/or sanitizing equipment or utensils. Smoking and eating areas may be designated by management where no contamination of food, equipment, or utensils will result.
(f) Employees shall wear light-colored, clean, washable uniforms and adequate hair restraints while engaged in handling frozen desserts, equipment, and utensils.
