Section 8:21-4.3 - General provisions; definitions

(a) 21 C.F.R. 310.3 (Definitions and interpretations), 21 C.F.R. 310.4 (Biologics, products subject to license control) and 21 C.F.R. 310.9 (Designated journals) are hereby adopted by reference, with the following modifications.
(b) The definitions set forth in subpart A (General provisions), section 21 CFR 310.3 pursuant to the intent and policy of the Department as set forth in a preamble to new drug regulations, mean the following:
1. The term "act" means the Title
24, New Jersey Statutes Annotated.
2. The term "department" means the New Jersey
Department of Health (Department).
3. The term "secretary" means the New Jersey
Commissioner of Health.
4. Where
administrative procedures are set forth in the Federal regulations, the
provisions of
52:14B-1 et seq. shall
apply.
