(a) General permit 27 authorizes the application of herbicide within freshwater wetlands and transition areas to control invasive plant species, provided:
1.
The area to which the herbicide is applied shall not exceed a total area of one
acre on a site; and
2. The
activities are conducted pursuant to an aquatic use permit issued by the
Department's Bureau of Licensing and Pesticide Operations.
