Section 7:50-3.38 - Effect on and responsibilities of municipality upon certification

Commission certification of a municipal master plan and land use ordinances shall authorize such municipality to grant, to the extent that it is so authorized by State law or municipal ordinance, any permits or approvals of development within its Pinelands Area jurisdiction subject to 7:50-4.31 through 4.42 or 7:50-3.81 through 3.85; provided, however, that all such permits or approvals granted, and any other action taken by such municipality with respect to the development or use of land within the Pinelands Area, shall be in strict conformance with the certified municipal master plan, land use ordinances and this Plan.
