Section 7:3-6.4 - Functions and authority of the Committee

(a) The Committee is authorized to perform any function assigned to it under Federal or State law, including, but not limited to:
1. Advising the Department in accordance with N.J.S.A. 13:1L-35 and 36, and the USDA Forest Service's National Forest Stewardship Guidelines; and
2. Serving as New Jersey's Forest Stewardship Coordinating Committee in accordance with the Food, Agriculture, Conservation, and Trade Act of 1990,
16 U.S.C. §
2103(c), and the Cooperative Forestry Assistance Act,
16 U.S.C. §
2113(b).
