Section 6A:8-6.2 - Scope

(a) This subchapter shall apply to all public high schools and their school districts and district boards of education or charter school or renaissance school project board of trustees.
1. A nonpublic high school that
elects to participate in the Bridge Year Pilot Program shall follow the rules
throughout this subchapter, as applicable.
2. "Host high school," which is the high
school that a student who pursues a bridge year attended as a junior, shall be
used throughout the subchapter to refer to a public high school and its school
district and district board of education or charter school or renaissance
school project board of trustees, as well as a participating nonpublic high
school.
(b) This subchapter shall apply to students in the graduating classes of 2021 and 2022 who pursue a bridge year and meet the eligibility criteria at N.J.A.C. 6A:8-6.4.
