Section 5A:6-5.1 - Scope

The Tuition Assistance for Children of POW/MIAs program is available to any dependent of a United States' Armed Forces prisoner of war or a person missing in action (POW/MIA) who was a resident of the State upon being accepted to pursue a course of undergraduate study in any private institution of higher education in this State or in any public institution of higher education of this State as enumerated in 18A:62-1. The dependent shall be allowed to obtain a bachelors degree, or certificate of completion, for so long as he or she is eligible, free of tuition.
