Section 5:27-8.4 - Record retention

(a) This section shall not apply to cooperative sober living residences.
(b) All required financial records shall be retained for a period of five years from the date of the record.
(c) All required resident records shall be retained for a period of seven years after the resident ceases to reside at the rooming or boarding house.
(d) Financial records and resident records for residents who no longer reside at the rooming or boarding house may be stored off site or at a central location provided that written notice of the storage location of the records is provided to the Bureau.
