(a) Safe and adequate means of loading and unloading each ride, ride element, or ride vehicle shall be provided. The ride shall be designed to protect against unsafe loading or unloading.
(b) When a ride is in a building, the following shall apply:
1. The minimum clear width to access a seat
is 12 inches. If more than seven seats must be accessed, the access width shall
be increased by 0.6 inches per seat up to a maximum of 22 inches; and
2. The maximum number of seats that can be
accessed from one side is 24 seats or 30 feet, whichever is less.
