Section 5:14A-4.7 - Inspection and testing

(a) The owner of an amusement ride shall have inspection and testing of that ride performed in accordance with applicable requirements of N.J.A.C. 5:14A-9.

(b) The owner of an amusement ride shall keep a record of all maintenance and operational inspections and tests in accordance with N.J.A.C. 5:14A-9. These records shall be retained for a period of at least three years, with the most recent 12 months being kept on site of the ride and available to the Department for review.

(c) The owner of an amusement ride shall provide training to employees performing inspection or testing of an amusement ride, pertaining to their assigned duties, and provide ready access by such persons to appropriate ride manual(s) (5:14A-2.14) during performance of those duties. A record of such training shall be retained and available for review by the Department for a period of at least three years, with the most recent 12 months being on site of the ride.
