Section 5:103-2.2 - Applicant eligibility criteria

(a) An applicant for a district that was formerly designated an MSNJ district and currently is accredited through the National Main Street Center's Main Street America(R) process prior to June 17, 2019, shall execute a Letter of agreement with MSNJ for designation as an MSNJ district.

(b) An applicant not subject to (a) above shall be an eligible organization that manages a defined downtown commercial district; a redevelopment agency that has been established by the municipal governing body pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-11, or a district management corporation created to oversee an Improvement District pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:56-65et seq.
