Section 4A:6-1.14 - Education leave: State service

In State service, an appointing authority may, with approval from the Chairperson or designee, grant an employee in the career, senior executive, or unclassified service education leave with or without pay for the purpose of obtaining training that is of direct value to the State, but is not available through State inservice training programs. See 4A:6-4.6 for tuition aid programs.
