Section 3A:4-3.1 - Types of cases receiving full review

(a) The Board or its local or regional community-based teams may conduct a full review of each of the following situations:
1. Each fatality and near
fatality of a child whose family, currently, or within the last 12 months, was
receiving services from the Division;
2.
Each child fatality where information available to the Board indicates that child
abuse or neglect may have been a contributing factor; and
3. Any other child fatality or near fatality
identified by the Board as significant to determining appropriate governmental
supports and methods of prevention.
