The purpose of the subchapter is to ensure that each child placed in New Jersey by another state and for whom New Jersey provides courtesy supervision pursuant to 9:23-5 et seq., the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children, has a regular review of his or her situation by a Division representative who has no responsibility for supervision of the child or delivery of service to the child.
