(a) A field to be eligible for the production of certified sod shall have been inspected prior to planting and found free of all other perennial grasses.
(b) In all cases, a field found eligible for the production of certified sod shall be free of injurious insects, unacceptable weeds as found in 2:16-7.1 3, and volunteer plants of other varieties or species of turfgrass.
