Section 16:72-3.4 - Cancellation of requests before opening

Requests for proposals (RFPs) should not be cancelled, unless cancellation is in NJ TRANSIT's best interest. Where an RFP is cancelled, proposals that have been received shall be returned unopened to the proposers and a notice of cancellation shall be sent to all prospective proposers to whom RFPs were furnished by NJ TRANSIT or be made available online. The notice of cancellation shall identify the RFP and briefly explain the reason the RFP is being cancelled.
