CHAPTER HISTORICAL NOTE:
Chapter 41D, Motorist Service Signing For Non-Urban Interstate and Limited Access Highways, was adopted as R.148, effective March 21, 1994. See: 25 N.J.R. 2836(a), 26 N.J.R. 1359(a).
Chapter 41D was repealed effective June 19, 1995. See: 27 N.J.R. 1369(b), 27 N.J.R. 2436(a).
Chapter 41D, Tourist Oriented Directional Signs Program (TODS), was adopted as new rules by R.2011 d.175, effective June 20, 2011. See: 43 N.J.R. 604(a), 43 N.J.R. 1425(a).
Chapter 41D, Tourist Oriented Directional Signs Program (TODS), was readopted by R.2018 d.184, effective September 17, 2018. As a part of R.2018 d.184, Subchapter 1, General Provisions, was renamed Purpose and Scope; Subchapter 4, Application, Approval and Participation Procedures, was renamed Application, Approval, and Participation Procedures; Subchapter 6, Design, Construction and Maintenance of Signs, was renamed Design, Construction, and Maintenance of Signs; and the chapter Appendix was repealed and adopted as a new rule, effective October 15, 2018.
