CHAPTER HISTORICAL
NOTE:
Chapter 39, Unusual or Disaster Maintenance, consisting of
Subchapters 1 and 2, was adopted by the Commissioner of Transportation pursuant
to N.J.S.A. 27:7 and was filed and became effective prior to September 1, 1969.
Subchapter 3, Spilled Cargo on State Highways, was adopted as new rules by
R.1974 d.101, effective April 23, 1974. See: 6 New Jersey Register 83(b), 6 New
Jersey Register 203(c). Chapter 39 was recodified as Subchapters 3, 4 and 5 of
N.J.A.C. 16:38 by an administrative change. See: 27 New Jersey Register
4905(b).
