(a) The following precautionary measures are required for pipeline installations:
1. Pipeline installation permits will identify the
transmittant, the maximum working, test, or design pressures, and the design
standards for the carrier.
2. When it is
anticipated that there will be a change in the transmittant or an increase in the
maximum design pressure specified in the permit, the utility shall notify the
Department, through the Regional Maintenance Office, and obtain approval for such
changes. The notice should specify the applicable codes to be used.
