Section 14:29-2.5 - Exemptions from end-use energy reduction measures

(a) The following shall be exempt from the requirements of 14:29-2.3 and 2.4, so long as the person or facility exempted has taken reasonable steps to reduce all non-essential energy use. However, this exemption may be modified or suspended by the Board:

1. Hospitals and other facilities licensed to provide medical care;

2. Persons who depend on life support systems; and

3. Electric sales for resale under FERC jurisdiction.
