Section 13:95-16.4 - Decision making criteria for placing a juvenile on or releasing a juvenile from special observation status

(a) In determining whether to place a juvenile on special observation status or to release a juvenile from special observation status, the factors to be considered include, but are not limited to:

1. Mood or attitude;

2. Behavior;

3. Participation in activities;

4. Personal hygiene;

5. Sleeping patterns;

6. Eating habits;

7. Previous suicide attempts, if known; and/or

8. Current life situation and other information deemed relevant.
