Section 13:85-5.5 - Reporting and records

(a) Providers shall submit the following items to the Chief Administrator for each class within 20 business days after the completion of a course:

1. Copies of all BRC, ERC Suite, and Additional Practice Riding Course rosters of participants, a class schedule and accident forms for each class section, the attendance roster, the Examining Rider coach's score sheet for each participant in a Basic Skills Level course, Experienced Level course, or Additional Practice Riding Course who undergoes the Basic Skills Level, Experienced Level, or Additional Practice Riding Course motorcycle skill test and, when a participant is under the age of 18 years, the parental/guardian permission required by 13:85-2.1. Providers shall make and retain copies of these documents for two years.

2. Upon request, providers shall make their record of all such documents available for inspection by the Chief Administrator or the Chief Administrator's designee during business hours.

3. Providers shall be responsible for completing and recording any official reports required by other public or private agencies or any individuals as a result of any accident involving bodily injury or property damage that occurs while conducting the MSE course. Providers shall submit copies of these reports to the Chief Administrator within 48 hours of the completion of such reports.
