Section 13:72-4.17 - Transmission failure

In the event of failure to transmit pari-mutuel information to a sending track, no further wagers shall be accepted in a casino simulcasting facility until and unless the failure has been corrected. The casino simulcasting facility and sending track shall attempt to manually merge any wagers which have already been accepted but which have not been transmitted to the sending track due to the failure. Notice of this procedure and any backup procedure established in accordance with 13:72-2.5(b) shall be posted in a prominent location in the casino simulcasting facility. In any instance where manual merging or recourse to the backup procedure is required, actual notice thereof shall be publicly announced in the casino simulcasting facility.
