(a) Construction of hub-rails, fences, and other safety devices for go-kart events must comply in all respects with the provisions of this subchapter and be in compliance with the World Karting Association Technical Manual (2021 Edition) or the F-Series Karting Technical Regulations (2021 Edition) rules governing go-kart racing, which are incorporated herein by reference, as amended or supplemented, unless the licensee has written approval for any changes from the Superintendent or designee. A copy of the Technical Manual may be obtained from the W.K.A., 5725D Highway 29 North, Harrisburg, NC 28075 or F-Series, 503 Bay Avenue, Union Beach, NJ 07735.

(b) The licensee shall erect, along any part of the track where spectators are permitted, whether outside of the track or in the infield, in addition to the hubrail, a four-foot high fence positioned not less than four feet from the edge of the track.
