Section 13:62-3.12 - Number of persons in vehicle

(a) No vehicle shall carry more than one person at any time during a race, practice or qualifying session.
(b) Accredited instructors from various sanctioning bodies are permitted to ride as a passenger in any vehicle driven by a participant during any event, except a race.
(c) Accredited instructors from various sanctioning bodies are permitted to drive vehicles with multiple passengers providing that each passenger has his or her own seat and seat belt.
(d) Multiple passengers may ride in a vehicle during promotional and touring events, and in other events for the purpose of instruction and/or demonstration providing:
1. All
vehicle occupants are wearing a minimum of a factory provided seat belt;
and
2. All passengers shall have signed
a liability waiver form provided by the licensee or sanctioning
organization.
