Section 13:62-2.4 - Procedures for approval of unspecified events

(a) When a licensee requests approval to conduct a racing event as defined herein, which is not specifically addressed by this chapter, the licensee shall apply to the Superintendent, or designee, for approval for the conduct of said event. Approval shall not be granted unless the Superintendent, or designee, is satisfied that:
1. The request for an approval was made in writing
to the Superintendent, or designee, at least 60 days prior to the racing
event;
2. The request contains a
sufficient description of the event; and
3. The approval will not adversely affect the
safety of the public or participants at a racing event.
