(a) All vehicles must have an approved three-inch, five-point harness that meets SFI 16.1, properly mounted to the frame.
(b) Shoulder harnesses should be mounted at shoulder height to a maximum of two inches above the shoulders.
(c) All components of the harness must have a manufacturer date stamp on them and cannot be over two years old.
(d) Ratchet strap harnesses that meet SFI Specification 16.1 are approved even though some may have a two-inch section of harness at the locking mechanism.
