(a) The aggregate retail value of all merchandise prizes awarded at a casino night event whether by drawing or redemption shall not exceed $ 100,000.

(b) Nothing contained in this section shall be construed to prohibit the award of cash or money as a prize in an authorized bingo or raffle game or to prohibit such a game from being held, operated and conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Bingo Licensing Law, 5:8-24 et seq., the Raffles Licensing Law, 5:8-50 et seq., and the rules governing the conduct of legalized games of chance, N.J.A.C. 13:47, in conjunction with a casino night event.
