(a) The term "chiropractic assistant" or any other title, designation, words, letters, abbreviations, or insignia indicating the practice of chiropractic assistance shall only be used by an individual if that person is licensed to practice chiropractic assistance under the provisions of N.J.S.A. 45:9-41.33et seq. ( P.L. 2015, c. 283 ).

(b) Students enrolled in an educational program, recognized by the Board, that leads to a degree or certification as a chiropractic assistant shall be permitted to provide clinical services under the supervision of a chiropractor to gain the necessary practical clinical experience.
