Electrical contractors, qualified journeyman electricians, and business permit holders shall comply with all general and special Federal, State, and municipal laws, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to the business of electrical contracting and those employed or engaged in the practice of electrical contracting. Violations of any such Federal, State, and municipal laws, ordinances, and regulations may be deemed occupational misconduct within the meaning of 45:1-21(e) and may subject a licensee or registrant to disciplinary action as set forth at 45:1-21 et seq.
