(a) The Board adopts the 2009 "Standards for Performing and Reporting on Peer Reviews," promulgated by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), as its minimum standards for review of firms' non-SEC issuer practices. The Standards are incorporated in this subchapter by reference, as amended and supplemented, and may be found at the AICPA website, www.aicpa.org. For public company audit firms, the Board adopts the firm inspection standards of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board's (PCAOB) inspection process for reviewing SEC issuer practices, which are not included in the scope of peer review programs.
