Section 13:28-6.1 - Compliance with laws and rules

Licensed schools shall comply with all laws and rules relating to the practice of cosmetology and hairstyling, beauty culture, barbering, manicuring, skin care specialty, or hair braiding, including the Cosmetology and Hairstyling Act of 1984, N.J.S.A. 45:5B-1et seq.; the Uniform Enforcement Act, N.J.S.A. 45:1-7.1, 7.2, 7.3, and 14 et seq.; the Uniform Regulations of the Division of Consumer Affairs, N.J.A.C. 13:45C; and this chapter. Any school violating any provision of this chapter shall be subject to disciplinary action by the Board. A notice of proposed suspension or revocation of a license shall inform the licensee of the right to be heard pursuant to the Administrative Procedure Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14B-1et seq., and 52:14F-1 et seq., and the Uniform Administrative Procedure Rules, N.J.A.C. 1:1.
