(a) When the Chief Administrator deems it necessary to refer a specific case to the Committee, all available information including the applicant's or licensed motorized bicycle operator's statement of his or her case history and the attending physician's report shall be referred to the Cardiovascular Committee for review and recommendation.

(b) If in the opinion of the Committee it is advisable, the applicant or licensed driver may be required to be examined by a specialist in internal medicine or cardiology including x-ray and/or electrocardiogram.
