Section 13:20-34.6 - Transfers to survivor

The surviving spouse, child or children of a deceased registered owner of any motor vehicle in whom title thereto shall vest by virtue of the terms of the will of such deceased owner, or otherwise, shall upon application to the Chief Administrator and upon payment of the transfer fee of $4.50 specified in 39:3-30 be entitled to have the particular identifying mark issued for said vehicle transferred to his or her name provided that said survivor meets the qualifications therefor specified by law and these rules.
