Section 13:2-17.2 - Service of notice and petition of appeal

The appellant shall first serve, personally or by ordinary mail, a copy of the notice and petition of appeal upon the respondent issuing authority and, where the action appealed from is the grant, transfer or extension of a license, or the refusal to revoke or suspend a license, a copy shall be so served upon the licensee, who shall also be joined as a respondent. The notice and petition of appeal, together with an acknowledgement or affidavit of service, must be filed with the Director within the time set forth in 13:2-17.3.
