Section 13:1A-5.2 - Responsibilities

(a) The Committee shall meet at least once each calendar year to:
1.
Assess the training needs of the law enforcement community as it relates to basic
and in-service courses;
2. Assess the
need for equipment and instructional resources at Commission-approved
schools;
3. Establish training
priorities for the law enforcement community for the following calendar
year;
4. Review the amount of monies
that have accumulated in the Fund;
5.
Determine, if necessary, a formula for the allocation of monies from the Fund;
and
6. Review, if necessary,
applications for awards received by the Commission.
