Section 13:18-2.7 - Refunds

(a) Refunds shall be permitted under the following circumstances:
1.
Error by the Commission;
2. Error by the
registrant on a mileage application; or
3. An audit by the Commission indicates
overpayment.
(b) No refund shall be permitted under the following circumstances:
1. Where a vehicle is transferred from one fleet
to another fleet by the same registrant if the mileage percentage of the receiving
fleet is lower than that of the transferring fleet;
2. Where an apportioned vehicle is permanently or
temporarily removed from a fleet for any reason; or
3. Where a lease expires or is
terminated.
(c) Refund claims of apportioned registration fees paid to other jurisdictions must be submitted to those jurisdictions.
(d) Any refund less than $5.00 shall not be granted.
