The insurance provision found at 13:18-1.7 shall not be required in the case of an oversize permit issued for the operation of a private utility trailer, house-type trailer or semitrailer. In such cases, the provisions of the Compulsory Motor Vehicle Insurance Law (39:6B-1 et seq.) and the Security-Responsibility Law (39:6-23 et seq.) will apply.
